About the internship
This is a working internship. You will be given real tasks on real projects, reviewed properly, and expected to ship. It is not a shadowing exercise.
We take interns because it is how we hire, and a meaningful share of our team started this way.
What you will do
- Build interface components in React and Next.js on live client projects
- Have your code reviewed by developers, and learn from the review
- Fix defects, which is how you learn a codebase faster than any documentation
- Sit in on discussions about what is being built and why
What we are looking for
- Working knowledge of React — components, props, state, hooks
- Familiarity with Next.js: routing and the basics of rendering
- Modern JavaScript (ES6+)
- HTML and CSS, including responsive layout
- Basic Git
You do not need professional experience. You do need to have built something, and to be able to explain the decisions you made in it.
Nice to have
- Tailwind CSS
- Any experience consuming a REST or GraphQL API
