QA Engineer

About the role

Our software handles other people’s money and other people’s goods. A bug in a checkout is annoying; a bug in cash reconciliation is a dispute between a courier and a merchant weeks later, and nobody can tell who is right.

You will be the person who finds those before they ship.

What you will do

  • Test features across web and mobile before release, including the paths nobody specified
  • Write and maintain automated end-to-end tests for the flows that must never break
  • Reproduce and document defects clearly enough that a developer can fix them without asking you three questions
  • Test on the devices and connections our users actually have — mid-range Android, patchy mobile data
  • Verify fixes, and check whether the fix broke something else
  • Push back when something is not ready

What we are looking for

  • Testing experience on web applications
  • The instinct to try the thing nobody expected — partial payments, interrupted flows, duplicate submissions
  • Clear written communication; a good bug report is a skill
  • Basic understanding of how web applications work: requests, responses, browser tools

Nice to have

  • Automation with Playwright, Cypress or Selenium
  • API testing
  • Experience testing systems with financial or inventory logic
  • Some SQL, for checking what actually happened in the database

What we offer

  • A team that treats QA as engineering rather than as a final gate
  • Real influence on what ships
  • Based in Maitidevi, Kathmandu
